Home Our Products Published Reports Press Release Career Home Our Products Published Reports Press Release Career Cermati Fintech Group Plants 1,000 Tree Seeds for Earth Day In commemoration of World Earth Day, Cermati Fintech Group (CFG), in collaboration with the West Java Regional Forestry Service Office (Region 1) and Kertabumi, carried out an environmental restoration activity by planting 1,000 hardwood tree seedlings in the Eduforest Urban Forest area, Bekasi Regency, West Java. This program is a cornerstone of the company’s sustainability initiative titled “Zero Carbon through Hardwood Restoration.” This Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program involves five entities within the Cermati Fintech Group ecosystem, including Cermati, Cermati Protect, Cermati Invest, Indodana Finance, and Indodana Fintech. The initiative features five types of seedlings, 500 Teak (Jati), 150 Mahogany (Mahoni), 150 Mangosteen (Manggis), 100 Red Bud Oleander (Pucuk Merah), and 100 Silk Trees (Sengon). The planting process involves various stakeholders, local communities, environmental activists, and employees. The Zero Carbon initiative represents Cermati Fintech Group’s commitment to environmental conservation through multi-stakeholder collaboration between the private sector, the government, environmental organizations, and the community. Through this program, the company aims to contribute to carbon sequestration while strengthening the ecological function of urban forests as green spaces and environmental education hubs. CEO of Cermati Fintech Group, Andhy Koesnandar, stated that Earth Day serves as a vital momentum for the business world to contribute more actively toward environmental sustainability. “For us, initiatives like this are not merely symbolic gestures, but part of a long-term effort to create a positive impact on the environment and society. Through collaboration with various parties, we hope this program can encourage more joint initiatives in preserving our environment,” said Andhy. The Eduforest Setu Urban Forest was selected as the location due to its strategic role as a green open space that functions not only as a conservation area but also as a center for environmental education for the public and the younger generation.
