This is demonstrated through an ongoing educational program titled “Pindar Mengajar: Cerdas Mengelola, Bijak Bertransaksi” (Smart Management, Wise Transactions), organized in collaboration with the Indonesian Joint Funding Fintech Association (AFPI).
The event took place at the Faculty of Economics & Business (FEB), UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, aiming to equip college students with wise financial management skills amid the rapid development of financial technology.
The educational session highlighted the importance of bridging the gap between students’ high financial literacy and their actual usage of financial services, which is often not yet optimal. On the same occasion, Indodana Fintech also encouraged students to be smarter in distinguishing between productive needs and the traps of a consumerist lifestyle.
Muhammad Wildan Fadhlillah, Compliance Assistant Manager at Indodana Fintech, who served as the speaker, emphasized the importance of digital literacy so that students can maximize the potential of financial technology to support their productivity. “During college, financial technology should be viewed as an empowering tool to support independence, ranging from daily financial management to accessing capital to start a business. However, as smart users, students must prioritize caution by ensuring that every digital service they use is licensed and supervised by the OJK,” said Wildan.
